Daniel Yung

Daniel Yung grew up in Kansas City where he started playing piano, cello, guitar, percussion, bass, and whatever else he could get his hands on. He holds Bachelor’s degrees in both piano and cello from Truman as well as a Master’s in Cello Performance from UMKC. Since his schooling, Mr. Yung has been working as the accompanist of choirs for Pleasant Hill Middle and High School as well as freelancing and teaching on the side. He has recently been involved in groups of many varieties such as Porch Music KC, the Kinnor Philharmonic, the Philharmonia of Greater KC, his low string trio, No Treble, an indie folk rock band called Times and Places, and his new jazz combo, Legerdemain, in which he plays some keys, bass, and drums.
