Andrew is a senior at Blue Valley Northwest High School, where he is the principal bassist in the Chamber Orchestra. He also was the bassist in his high school jazz band. In 2021 and 2022, he was a member of the Kansas All-State Orchestra and was the principal bassist in each of those years. In those same years, he participated in the All-State Solo/Ensemble Festival.
Andrew was selected to participate in the 2022 Heartland Chamber Music Festival Camerata Orchestra.
In his free time, when not performing, he enjoys running sprints for his track team, playing pickle ball and golf, pecking out new tunes on the piano and spending time with his family and friends.
Andrew joined Westwood Ensemble in 2019 and has been studying bass with Jon Lane since the age of 14.
